state of delirium

Why do I always get such great insights during states of delirium? I mean, just today, I was staring at 2 math problems which i couldn't do when i stared at them days before. And I had 2 (not so) great insights which solved the problem. Damn, I think I should start being delirious more often, perhaps its not so bad after all.

On the other hand, I can't think, can't talk, can't whistle, can't fucking chop corn either. It's a trade off I guess, one skill set for the other.
