ugh ... its 0400
Here i am working away at my paper for Hume since 2000. 8 hrs of work to produce about 2 pages of coherent organized thought. Seems slow, but thats very common for me. Brain is now officially dead, hence i've come here to destress, unwind, and yes you guessed it, bitch. Oh yea, am at TK's room. Else i wont have such excellent self control, as evidenced by the useless 8 hrs put in on monday.
Am actually quite pleased with my hume paper, just feel that it is developing great. Of course, got slaughtered for my previous response paper, and was one of the people whom she referred to in class and warned us against doing so again. This time round im too ham ji to stray too far away from the text. Anyway, i have quite an interesting thesis to work with, and quite a bit of the substantiation comes from the text. Just that i've hit a dead end in my thoughts, and now is not the time to generate new ideas.
Brain is just too tired to perform any of the analysis which i proclaimed in my previous post to attempt to do. But heres a feeble attempt (read description ... to be developed over the next few days)
The Singapore Curve Setter's Union
I shall unabashedly admit that im responsible for some hedious grades in my anal class last quarter, and my econs class this quarter. In that sense, im setting the curve for those courses. In Hume, as expected, im barely surfing along with the curve, but considering that i devote 10 hrs to a response paper while most devote 2, and i still suck ... Then for Musi, im being trodden by the curve, one of those curve fodder pple for the other 2 types to get their grades. (BTW, am pleased with my concert review grade, amazing got an A- despite Lip Jin and TK laughing at what i wrote... They got a point though, and i edited quite a bit after their comments, so thanks guys.) But as expected, got skewered for my listening test. Am still slightly sore about it, wonder y im so dumb as to hope that the last 2 chapters din come out...
arg, i shall stop bitching and get on with what i wanna say, then can go orh orh, aka zzzzz.
Wow, im amazed, my brain is so dead that i forgot what i wanna say. Okay, thats a sign that the bed is calling... lol, maybe tomolo, but then again, i most prob would be working at the bloody same essay. should quit while i'm ahead (can see what im typing)
P.S. Ugh, had a terrible night of sleep. U know when yr brain has done too much thinking (assuming at some point in the past it has had) and then it refuses to shut down like my bloody stupid laptop (shut down also problematic one) Random thoughts just keep on flowing, din really want to wake up today, though that workoholic was up and abt like at 7 ... amazingly class was quite alright, but then again, he was talking abt min-cow-ski inequality, yawnz
