Hume + Anal

Hume:
Descartes says that I have a god who preserves me from moment to moment.

Anal:
Zorn's lemma: If a partially ordered set has the propert that every totally ordered subset has an upper bound, then the partially ordered set has a maximal element.

Combine these 2 facts. Consider all things in this world. Place an order relation on them, in which X>Y means that Y's existance is ensured by X. By Zorn's lemma, there exists a maximal element (GOD), whose existance is guaranteed.

Such a pity that neither of my teachers would appreciate this observation ... my hume teacher would rather us quibble over whether cognito means I think, I'm thinking, I thought, I have thought, etc ...

1 Comments:

  • I think it's spelt cogito.

    What's purple and commutes?
    An abelian grape.

What's green and really far away?
    The lime at infinity.

    What's yellow, normed and complete?
    A bananach space.

What's yellow and equivalent to the Axiom of Choice?
    Zorn's lemon.

    Have a nice day!
