All is funny, in a rich man's world.
Money woes ... been spending so much this quarter. Money seems to just flow out of my pocket just like that. No more cash on hand already, need to go draw more... HOW?
Actually, i do know where my money goes, and i know what the high ticket items i bought are. Y? Cos i decided to keep a nice tab of how much i spend everyday, and on what stuff. Books, food, housing deposit and ang bao seems to be the heaviest expenses, which have reduced me to such a state.
Earning $50 a week is pathetic, i should demand a pay raise ... $25 an hour sounds good, but guess i can do so only in autumn, assuming im rehired ... Onward to goal of $40 an hour ... yea rite, this is USA where college students are paid a measy $8, $12 if ure lucky, for menial labour.
But still, compared to NS, where im paid 600 for 25 days of 24 hrs, aka $1.17 per hour, thats a marked improvement. And VJC just covers the mexico trip, so i guess i shant complain much, shall i. LOL, there was always the tuition, nice good $$...
Am waiting for the $300 that comes at the end of the quarter, but even with it, that wont rescue me. Would still be in the red. Then theres the holiday trip too! oh no ... travelling to atlanta (i think) with huiying, huileng and ivan ... to see nature and shop, 2 things that i hate. oh gosh...
Well of course, theres the possibility of the $1000 coming in at the end of the quarter too. Lets be more pragmatic, hopefully $250. (What say u kiat? Theres still the team! lol) But that would have to go towards offsetting summer costs of lodging and food ... oh no oh no ...
N.B. Parents, pls dun be alarmed. The above was written in acordance with my NSR 4 (?) SMSM. Which stands for ... oh shit i forgot. last M was money though lol. Was hoping to survive only on what i earn :) (given that lodging and most food is covered) Not going to happen in the near future though. Was done quite successfully last quarter. (and now mr ba gua, u got yr ans)
