Mid terms
Ugh, time passes so fast. Week after week after week just zoom by, and i always feel that im not getting anything done. So much work to do, and so little learning done... Y oh y did i come to USA? I'm more than halfway through my first year, and what have i learnt so far? erm ... nothing much ...
Screwed up my anal midterm. Was easy, but i only got 1/5 questions. cocked up the rest, even those that i din think i cock up. sianz... Now can only bank on the Final, which isn't very good, cos hes going to kill us then ...
Econs midterm went well though, shouldn't be much of a problem. Someone pointed out that an A is given for scores > Average + standard deviation. But for this class, that value is >100%. Hence no one would get an A ...
music midterm tomolo. So unprepared for this. have to listen to music pieces, and comment about them. Know what instruments, what type, what kind, what the connotations are, relationships to other stuff ... argh, this one sure flunk one. Would be so glad that i finally get this module out of the way.
Once again its time for a downward evaluation of grades.
been busy studying for those midterms ... actually din study much for econ, only like the day before, cos got anal... Once again, i wonder y im getting so little stuff done, and cant really find an answer for it. But then again, how much stuff is then considered much? Have read some pple's CV's and it looks mad, almost as if they have 30 hrs per day. Alrightz, most pple stretch the truth somewhat, but still ... i know im wasting too much time on freecell, but thats like my destressing activity (at game 12600, started from 10000 when i came to UoC) apart from mahjong that is. Ah yes, have yet to teaqch june... next tues i guess
Hmz, have to get props for beauty world ... haven done much :) someone's gonna get it bad...
Sigh, and have 2 more papers to write this weekend. Papers are the worst. Each take me min 48 hrs (excluding sleeping time) to write. And even after that, i have no idea whether or not im done with them, or how they will turn out... Have 2 more years of this: sosc and civ... argh...
Finally got that card, feels good to receive mail. Am not going to turn into an internet shopaholic though...
No one is irrational as there are only a finite number of them.
