Finals wek approaching, im all ready to shit my pants. UGH. the weeks just flash past just like that. y O y ...
Its amazing how periods of intense work is intermixed with periods of such inefficiency... ever since i got my paper 'done' on thurs, i hardly got any work done. Well, I've sent paper for editing, and edited it, left a few more changes to make, maybe abt 2 hrs worth, then i'm done with it, which would be a load off my mind
Then come my music paper. UGH. Have no idea how to write this, and its supposed to be 10 papers worth of stuff. Have attempted to start writing it, but failing terribly. Plan was to get half of it done by today, but i think im only 10% starting. ERK... Have to get this done by Wed, by hook or by crook. Yea, am planning on using the starting or final dance from BW, recorded the footage already, shall record once more tomolo, then choose from them. Hence, dancers, u have been warned. dun cock up, or u might live on in eternity. Would be using that in a compare and contrast scenario with another song ... see what crap i can cook up about world music wihth those 2.
Started my anal revision, and im fucked. Once again, have no idea whats happening, or how to do lebesgue intergral. Dun really know Riemann for that matter, except for memorizing anti-derivatives. Or Multiple integrals with weird domains, or integrating wrt a line ... You would think he would say more then, nah, go practice ... Final on monday, a bit scary, how back in sg we would have like a month to prepare, whereas here u only have a few days. Sigh, nv feel prepared enough, like theres always more work to be done, more text to be read, more questions to practice on, etc.
And then theres econs, with the test on tues... Which means i have mon aft to revise for that. slightly scary, but i think i know what happened in class, so shouldn't be that bad . At the worst have my midterm and homework to pull me up, so shall worry abt that only on monday.
Ugh, but kiran kedaya says that the results are out in the start of march, and then he transcribes them into html by the end of march ... sianz, oh well, 1 more month to go. Considering that my prof is going off gallaventing, them im gonna run away to the countryside, it would be a good 2 weeks b4 i hear abt anything. Bloody worse than IMO, at least that was only 2 days of waiting lol.
Hmz, for physics, i dn really see it that way. I mean, yes i know that its not that ure stuck with that model, but that u have to be on the lookout for a model to fit the predictions. Dunno y, but i feel that though econs is also modelling of behaviour, econs is still somewhat more 'real/true'. Guess partially is cos i din really like physics in JC.
Been doing too much thinking to do any more today ... got GPA to think abt ... y aiant i in a sch with A+, that would pull grades up trememndously... hmz, heard from someone that the previous batch of harvard students mostly graduated with honors due to grade inflation. But then again, in UoC, with a cutoff of 3.25, i wonder what percentage of pple end up with honors. Certainly those who care minimally abt their grades would be able to make it...

That sounds wrong on one too many levels...
Kiran usually transcribes the results over the 2-3 days after they officially come out - and there's no predicting when that is.
Well, I guess the joy of physics is when somethin totally unexpected comes out of your model that fits something equally unexpected in real life. Like the Bohm-Aharonov effect, or Berry's phase, or, or...
