Attended my first wedding yesterday (without parents in tow that is). For the first time, a wedding starts on time. The oldest guest is like 25, oh mine, what a young crowd. Well, Brian and Jiahui knew each other for 8 years already, which i must admit is an achievement across NS, Uni, and more...
Was held at grand lux hotel, which had great food, and superub dessert. Hmm, can still taste it now (which means 1 thing ... added inches) Had a grand total of 3 sips of white wine. KO in the car on the journey back, woke up today with some rashes. WTF. I am hereby exempt from drinking on my wedding night. Must ensure that all invited guests know that beforehand, and that hotel has good supply of tea. In fact, can save a godly amt by making it a non-alcoholic wedding LOL.
Of course, since the wedding was held in US, there were several modifications. Had a buffet dinner instead of the usual traditional chinese dinner. Jiahui was 'sort of unwilling' to go around toasting people cos she dun really like alcohol. They gave out a box of Godiva choc, instead of a take home wedding fruit cake (not that uncommon). Was a very good wedding, mdm wedding planner Adela.
Lip Jin does not believe in true love; it is a decision he says. I know my opinion on this subject, and nope im not a cynic.
Kenneth points out that we would be swamped with one-liners from Beauty World for the next year or so... Thats certainly true, and i shall avoid (though terribly) to contribute to this unacceptable social norm.
Sigh, they nv play any music during the wedding, which destroys my plan for my stupid music paper. Oh well, onto plan B ... failing which im prepared for plan C (which is to get a C) ... Since Brian refuses to cooperate, i just have to work on his roommate.
SMSM stood for Self Made Support Money LOL a currently lost and gone cause, but one can still hope. Shan't give up on it yet ...
