The Kid
Wanted to post stuff abt 'The Kid', hence the title, but felt evil doing so, shall wait till another day when im really irritated. Am amazed that i haven really expressed my irritation, but then again, getting back in minor ways :) aiant i devious...
Well, im actually very glad to be in UoC, despite at the start thinking it was my safety school and wanting to go elsewhere. I quite love the place here, the friends are great, my dorm mates are cool (mostly), the architectural design is superub, the weathers frighteningly cold, the educations great ... come to UoC!!! Haha, shall promote UoC in June to all the simo students ... Know 2 juniors (though none from SIMO) in NS who would be coming along next year, would be fun with them.
When is my putnam training starting? Theres an info session this friday, which most probably means 2 weeks down the road... Stealing materials from Stanford thanks to Kiat, more from elsewhere would be most welcome. With any luck, hoping to get $250 to supplement my allowance.
Which brings me to my next point, to work or not to work? Work means need to reduce time spent on studying and socializing and relaxing ... i could most probably give up the last, but then again, its important. Several of the US citizens have started getting campus jobs, but when i look at it, i dont find them intriguing at all. And can only be a TA next year, even though i feel almost like 1, and for 3 courses, sigh ...
And my time management is so bad already, working into the night, even though the day before i thought i had most of my work covered. Must learn how to write papers faster, do maths problems in my sleep and memorize bio while walking ... Multi task is the way to go.
