sianz, woke up at 6, couldn't get back to sleep ... now have a boster on my bed, kindly brought over by my parents who are in mid flight now.

had stupid chinese placement tests yesterday ... wah, gave me such a big headache, trying to figure out whatever the words and sentences meant, some of which were badly constructed (to me) Came out after 2.5 hrs, no loonger have my old mental stamina apparantly ... i actually took a 20 mins nap after the 1st hour, it could just be chinese.

TK sponsored my lunch aft that at Bartlett. They have $200 to spend for a week, so im helping them out. Don't think id return to BJ for lunch, 3 blocks is just too far to walk. Which means that i have to plan my timetable properly, ensure everything is sufficiently packed, so that i minimize walking over the midway (which is still quite a nice place, except in winter where it becomes a wind tunnel)

Slept on Kenneth's roommates bed after that (he hasn't arrived, and i was just too tired) then went for several looong talks. Have to figure out whats the 4 year plan, productivity and efficiency levels and such soon. Timetables have to be changed in light of new information.

Dinner was good, sponsored by the Resident Master, and we had to wear 'semi-formal' whatever you felt it was. Liked my shirt and pants, which i bought just before i left Sing, would miss that whop at queensway, which has several shirts that i like. Recently received an email from a senior detailing how to go to thrift stores and get clothing for US 0.50-15. Would that ever become a reality for me? Shall need to see what my allowance is like.

After dinner, had a long talk with a fren from pre-orientation. Am so glad for preorientation actually, cos it really helped us to know faces around the campus. Dont know all 40 of them, but know abt half. Someday shall intro them to u :)

Watched South park the movie back in my house longue, was so tired that i slept at the end, but well, i watched it b4 already. Very easy to interest americians. South park is banned in Singapore, and so is the selling of gum, and the posession of 500g of drugs ... the (deleted to ensure it won't come back to haunt me) state

Alright, need to go off for PE test, shall hope to place out of at least 1 quarter, but then again, knowing me ... Never run for frisbees in the frigid cold. Takes your breath away. (If ure unused to it that is)
