Hei hei writing this up in the air again …
Its abt 7 hrs into the flight, and have been spending most of the time studying (well, I multitask : listen to Ipod, watch movie, eat meals) There were points in time when I was studying, that I heard again songs that I listen to in Sec 4 (the library plays Kelvin Kern, for those who don’t know) and JC2 … brought back fond memories of both times
Can still remember in Sec 4, would stay back in RI library to get some work done in preparation for the O’s, either in the library, staff room corridor, or SSS (Super Study Scheme? Forgot whats its called liao) Then meeting all the teachers who would come in and see us studying, or slacking, whatever is the case. Got to know the libarians quite well, even helped them out during the hols (a HOLLAR of thanks to all libarians out there, esp Yap and Mani), have varyng accounts of how hard I studied (Tang would see me slacking and lying on those comfortable sofas, while Miss Ng (married liao) would come in when im doing my studyng LOL … was quite funny when they compared notes) Of course, met lots of other interesting characters along the way, but don’t feel like being sued right now. History was my main problem, ended up writing model answers to almost ALL the qns possible, and made Shanta+Hamidah mark through them … thank goodness I got my A in the end…
In J2, got a bit more slack, what with doing 3 subjects (yar yar, I admit k) Luckily I got the hang of things, though I wish my GP could have been better. In retrospect, I din exactly put in much effort then (even now) Studying with Jinming, Yanming, William, Zhenyu, Weiliang, Zhiyong, Grace, Honyun, Ethel, etc … sigh, such fond memories, hope I can find such study buddies in Chicago, pple who will push me LOL
Oh well, a bit of background on those I know going chicago. Thongkai (TK) a brilliant perfectionist, plays the piano and violin (I want to learn a musical instrument), well organized and logical in thought. Been together with him for 11 yrs (pri, sec, JC, unit), and 3 long years more. Hei William, im gonna steal yr best fren LOL. TK was like ‘Thanks for all yr fuure help in maths, in return, I’d …’
Jason Teo, stayed 5 mins from me, in MAD (Music and Drama), Humanities student, loves to dance (im a psychomotor moron) Like TK, have some been together for 11+3 yrs … goodness, how time seems to fly. These 3 yrs would be over before I know it,
Kenneth, not the cute AC brat, but a cute AC senior. [btw, Kenneth Tay, my fren says ure cute, go figure] Low, met him in SRP at J1 for 3 short weeks, then lost contact (not like I bothered, sortof miss Hong Teng’s ramblings too). Glad that now we are together, like he said on ‘Sorry ure not on the list, don’t know u too well …. Its alright, now we have the time’ Yup sure dude!
Yikley. Some express guy from RI, my year, express, plays pingpong. Kez says hes a cool guy, but he denies the allegation, which makes him more cool rite? LOL This guy IS going to stay 5 mins from me. We’re both at BJ, he’s at room 415, im at 418. Shd be nearby … would see lots more of him in future too.
Ivan, this AC express guy that could pass off as GEP (its sortof compliment lah, even my fren agrees, anonymity granted for security sake) Threatens to blow things up a lot, pick locks, climb gates … thank goodness im not in the same building as him, dun want to wake up in the middle of night due to fire alarm. U guys have been warned LOL
Oh yes, and theres this other PSC guy (this year J2), forgot his name liao LOL(tried checking my msn history, but seems not there) He would be rooming with 2 other Americians, and is worried about maintaining his grade to meet PSC requirements. Oh well man, good luck!
Actually, I have no idea y im telling u guys abt these pple, but oh well, who cares, since I’ve typed out all these already … think its back to studying MA2108 … SIANZ!!!
Someone has to teach me how to use the Ipod, cant even detect it on my com now…
