TIRED! just came back from playing frisbee, running in the cold is no joking matter man, and considering how unfit i was LOL ... oh well, shall play more of it in future, see if have time. Was fun playing, but then again had great guys on my team who did most of the running and catching ... all i did was have some lucky breaks once in a blue moon.

Calc placement test went alright, some weird questions. With any luck, would be able to place into honours analysis, though i dun really know if i want that. shall find out on tues... how to answer this : What properties does the real numbers have such that the product of 2 negative numbers is a positive number?

Went for house outing after that, VINCENT! took the bus and train downtown, walked some distance, then ate at a polish buffet... tried the various food there, had things like cows tongue (you could see the actual taste bud on them), sa...?? (like popiah filling), and some other weird stuff ... luckily went to play some frisbee, else i think id be back to pre-BMT soon ... shall need to get motivated to exercise somehow or other, else LOL

quite glad i came to chicago actually, the people here have such diverse interests, and yet are so knowledgeble in various areas, and im talking abt the students ... sigh, my knowlege is so shallow and limited, shall have to work on that, but dun know how to. Had a very interesting conversation/friendly argument with a Comparative Lit major, and a 16yo guy, that revolved ard fact and theory, looking at areas of maths and evolution. That led on to several other discussions.
