home sweet home, not so

Back in Chicago now, at hl's dorm, waiting for jeremy to come back, its 2230 already though, think id most prob sleep in the house lounge...

Atlanta has been fun, recharged my battries, ready to plunge back into 10 weeks of mindless tedious work. This is the only quarter i have any chance of getting a 4.0, cos no writing courses lol. So lets reach for the stars!

Missed the flight today by a bit, ended up paying 25 for another ticket, was planning on taking a photo of the $25 tix, but haven yet :) First time missing a flight, wasnt that bad cos there was another one 1.5 hrs later. So now at least had the experience, next time wont be that bad. Cost of spring break should be under 500, decent amount. (Talk too much, parents will call and complain, so shan't say more)

BTW, some info here, like my cost of spring break and grades, is for my parents, cos thats all the info they are getting from me. Quite bad right? But who cares. Then again, I think they made me sign the form such that they will be mailed my grades. Hmmz, need to check that out...

Went to visit World of Coca-Cola, one more reason for me to be an academian, instead of a business person... omg, the extent to which they utilize publicity and branding ... Its not just selling of coke, but the various machinery that came along with it, and of course all the ideals. Din know that they manipulated santa claus into a jovial, red-and-white person ... That pic is an ad in chinese, quite an old one. That was the only photo i took. There was an exhibit called 'Bottling Fantasy' where supposedly they show bottles of coke being bottled. But actually, its just 2 chains, 1 empty bottle, 1 full of coke, being circulated round and round and round. Felt cheated of my money, and it was the first exhibit.... But well, got to taste horrendous drinks from around the world, some of which made me wanna vomit. Was wondering who on earth would want to drink this kind of, erm, shit.
