Lag jetted
Hm, for some weird reason i seem to be sleeping at weird times ... just slept like a log from 6pm-11pm ... only excuse is that thats my usual sleeping time back in sg (5am-12pm) lol
Another hectic day of classes... started off with the math pirate in hon anal. He's not getting his sea legs yet, so is still in the wheelchair. Which reminds me, must get a pic of him sometime. Did amazingly well for the final :) and my TA cant add up the score, not like it would make a difference though. Amazingly, only 5 A's were given out in this class, though like 8 people deserved it (and by pigeonhole principle ... oh yea, theres this guy that calls it the pig in hole principle) I know 3 of those who got an A, so time to figure out who din make the cut. The pirate is actually demanding 30 hrs/week, which in my schedule, is impossible to pen in.
After that, went to sit in for an hon calc class. Started with a boring, old professor, happily decided to leave his class halfway. Went over to join TK, who has this young new spanish native speaking math grad. When excited, he starts sprouting spanish LOL Cant really get used to his accent, but oh well, all is good. I'd just ask TK who seems to have np abt it. Its much better than being bored half to death.
Should i also sit in on point set topology? I think i must be mad to do so, but there are so many people who are taking it ... even this guy who only has hon calc, doesn't even have anal and alge (which are pre-requisites) ... but well, that might be best left to next year when i actually take it for real. Nah, id become mad if i did this, already (over?) burdened as it is.
Had a physics accreditation exam for 122 after that, dont think i did well, but then again, i din know the stuff. Think that was my most creative time in Physics, where i was just creating theorems out of nowhere to plug in my values, most of which should be wrong. Oh well, lets just keep my fingers crossed, and look at the outcome. Won't be surprised if i dont get credit, which opens up a whole can of worms re course scheduling.
Was supposed to have a meeting with my mentor in Directed Reading Programme (DRP) in which i read math books under his guidance and hopefully present a coherent project at the end of the quarter. We should be looking at Geom, which has little/no application to present-day math. Not that that really concerns me, since i have so many more quarters to try other stuff...
Came back, had short dinner, then KO. Throat is hurting slightly, feels like 1 big lump in there. But HAVE to do reading for Hume, sianz.
