UGH, first day of classes

and i've gotten FAT ... SHIT ...

ugh, so damn tired out today ... forgot how exhausting class can be at times.

econ 202 by that nobel lauret, who bored me quickly. Well, its the first day of class, and he has been rumored to be a terrible lecturer, so, shall just be glad that he allows me to sit in. Not so sure how this will work out, shall just use this to pickle my brain early in the morn.

econ 201 with that grad student with heavy accent. Must make effort to understand what he is saying. He took his time to introduce math concepts, for the benefit of the class (who already shd have known them) but also explained this interesting envelope condition for Lagrangian Multiplier. 4 Singaporeans in this class, damn, need to fight it out LOL ... midterm + final, easy peasy i hope.

huma 116 with a highly interested grad student that expects all of us to speak. Well, have to start doing the readings before the class, not just for the paper. And considering my previous grade for hume, should attempt to write better. More work needed here... 5 response papers, 3 essays, in increasing order of weightage.

Music 102 - Intro to world music. Possibly the most trying of my classes today. Middle-aged soft-spoken professor that mumbles somewhat to himself. I'm the person with least music background in my class, dun know some of the concepts that he was introducing. Expects us to get our hands on several music CDs to listen to and comment ... 2 listening quizzes to deal with, a report on a concert and a final paper on god knows what.

Came back, was so tired out, slept like a log for some time ... need to go back to sleep ... need to purchase books ... need to read textbook ... too much stuff to do and too lil time.

I miss lazing ard.
