hi once again
Took a break today, din do anything once i got home. Time seems to sort of pass slowly, been playing quite a bit of computer games and watching random stuff. Have decided to give myself half day off on friday, just so that i can further unwind and relax. Its likely to be hot though, so maybe i shd fill the bathtub with ice :)
Adela's place is quite wonderful actually, almost everything i need is here. Been depleting her food stores, recently went to chinatown to buy 25 pounds of rice to restock. The marinate's mostly gone too, as in the Lee Kum Kee Chicken rice mix. On the bright side, we're lving quite comfortably on the wonderous food. Groceries bill is about 300 so far (for 5 weeks), which seems sortof appropriate. Then again, i know nuts about buying food. Am pretty amazed with how the food situation is turning out actually. All this random throwing of stuff into the pot, crossing my fingers and hoping against hope is working out quite well. Can still count my misses on one hand, and the unexpected hits are bountiful :) On the down side, think im getting fat ... Oh well, you can't trust a skinny cook
Been hosting frens over at this place too, the 3 couches provide ample sitting space for everyone. Had a potluck in the first 2 weeks, followed by an ice cream pigout, then i cooked dinner for 5 pple on sat. Good thing i started early (like at 4), and was almost done by 7. Had Bah Kut Teh, Ma Po To Fu, Dumplings, Xiao Bai Cai, Fruit cocktail... Gonna try and have chokolat fondue this weekend (gonna steal yr pot adela), if i can just find the chokolat and fruits.
YSP's going fine, misleading another bunch of kids. But it can be so frustrating sometimes, working with someone who just doesn't want to work. Have to be threatened, cajoled, coered, bribed into working... But then again, the SIMO team is also similar, what with they not wanting in to turn in solutions, or thinking harder on a problem. Oh yea, IMO is over, we got 2 silver, 3 bronze, 1 HM. Very well done on the whole, for a young team. Of course, it would not hurt to scold some pple lol :) ... hindsight is such a bad thing, i've always told myself that i won't want things done differently, but now i wonder.

If yr answer to the above questions is yes, then you did not pick randomly. Try again.
Kiat: There are no roses to smell along the way. I used to think there were. Maybe they will grow back at some point in the future.
