Hell week soon to be over
Yea, finished 3 midterms this week. Screwed 2 of them (anal music). Did well for my econ. Now just have to face Andy Tan tomolo, go for some stupid folk festival concert, read my DRP book, write my music Essay, write my Hume Essay, do my anal assignment .... ugh, dun want to think abt it. Let me just enjoy today, ack got to work later (heehee, realize that parents have no idea what i do :) have intentionally keep it that way)
But, yes, am so glad that i have survived this week. Theres no need to commit suicide tomorrow. Was thinking of promising to do my work regularly, but i realized that like my NYR, they have all been ignored/broken :) What i need to do is to start with 30 or so resolutions ... how many have u kept so far?
Summer plans being finalized, having curry flavoured and c0ck-sucked (the zero aiant obvious here) the professor, i would be working under him in the summer. Would be stuck in hot swealty chicago from june - Aug 10++. Anyone wants to rent place out to me at a good friendly (read cheap) rate? I want a single room. Don't mind an apartment, can find roomies myself. But of course, only for those 2 months, not all the way up to september... Close to campus is quite important, and by that i do not mean ulu Windemere. And those who are staying on in chi for one reason or other, do tell me abt it.
Next year, would be staying with TK (yea, lover boy) and Lip Jin (the other lover boy) ... promises to be quiet as TK would be silent and Lip Jin would be absent. Nice roomies that i can live off of, but dunno if they can cook, cos i cant. Can wash dishes / load into dishwasher. Well, will see how it goes, could be too early to tell anyway. I want a single room ... gosh, thats the only thing on mine mind ... close to campus would be nice.
I realize how territoty is defined by where u stay, and how far u're willing to walk. Like Zhenyu and I have these interesting discussions about where constitutes our territory back in Singapore (he stays 1 bus stop down from me) Bishan North Shopping mall is mine, not his. Sunfu market is his, not mine. RI/J8 is both ours... and my territory at home is expanding as my willingness to walk increases.
Just like over here, pple say BJ is far, but i think its very near. Unlike those cockanadans that think Shoreland can be considered near ... OMG its so freaking far away. It took me 30 mins to walk back from my MJ sessions at Windemere. Have taken 1 overnight (actually morning) nap there after a mahjong session, woke up, din know the bus schedule/bus stop, so decided to walk back ... its so so far... Pierce is a reasonable distance away, but still further than BJ (cos my classes are all in the quad) Raitner gym is too far away, hence my unattainable goal of running, well, 3 times in the past 6 weeks should count as something.
Dorm is in PMS mode again. Its the time of the month. Huileng, not so loud (yes huileng, not huiying)
