Up in the air
And thus I continue the tradition of blogging while up in the air. Have such great timing though, they just started serving a snack. WTF its instant noodles - UA has terrible food. Started off the day fine (sans previous post), tried to leave my keys with Adam, so that my brother could pick them up when he visits sometime in August. Then I found out that the mailboxes in Regents were actually federally controlled, and that they had no access to them. Wonderful. There goes the plan of leaving the keys in the mailbox - luckily Kenneth saved the day. Still, this reminds me of the time when poor young, naïve me was abetted to steal the cute postal cart.
And since I decided to save the cab/Omega fare and take CTA transport instead, I was lugging my luggage halfway across town, when it decided to split open. Well, to be fair, I knew that one of my luggage bags was spoilt, and didn’t check which one I took. Luckily there was the strap, though it was still interesting to lug the luggage… Ended up changing bags at the airport, shifting everything into a blue haversack. At the check-in counter, when I lugged up the now empty luggage, the counter staff expressed surprise at the weight. I then told my wondrous story J Yea, I think lugging luggage is quite funny.
On board the plane, I ended up changing seats with some family. Same thing happened in the seat next to my new seat, and I met this American guy who is studying at some
Oh, and UA’s so kiam siap. They made us stop at
Din know that there was ‘Shrek the Third’ movie. Quite amusing, I must admit. And another movie played on the space-time continuum, in the form of a woman who lived out the days of a week in ‘random’ order – when she woke up, it was Thursday and she found out that her husband died. The ‘next’ day was Tuesday and he was still alive. Absolutely no scientific basis, but still mildly interesting.

But how true! I might have scarred the person next to me from HK to SG. There were many moments when I was laughing and reading :)

If they released nerve gas into the plane cabin, everyone would be blissfully asleep... no problems!
