Tits fattening strategy
Oh yea, you read that correctly. Thats what i came to the US for. What a wonderous education system... Have to thank a certain old indian professor for mentioning this :) Seems like many people can benefit from it eh
Sigh, y can't i sleep properly? Went to bed at 1030, woke up at 1130, 430, 530, 630, then gave up and am here blogging. 2 hours more to go, and then 8 hours more to go. Hopefully will be able to do 8/12 ... With any insane luck like last year, will be able to do 10/12 LOL. Who am i kidding? 3/5 of the spots already have names on them, so i guess i just have to wait till next year. But then again, every year will be like that, and with each passing year i lose more knowledge of what i knew. Oh well, lets just hope for the best. Quite well rested actually. Kiat's on the team too, wonder how julius is doing... Then theres boon, ernest, kenneth, charmaine ... with any luck, we can get 6 sg names up lol. Quite hard, but would be marvellous if we can do so.
Finals in a few days, still worried about algebra. Its the way of thinking that im still not used to doing... Need to break out of problem solving mode and enter algebra mode. Fingers crossed. Need to ace this test like mad in order to get a barely decent overall grade, don't want to end up like you boon ... Stat, ugh, need to learn all that material. Vaguely know whats happening, and i should be able to crap enough. Seems like my math skills have mostly pulled me thru the 2 stat courses... Econ, erm, weird lah. No one understands what the prof wants, hence your score is either insanely high or insanely low. For the midterm, ave was 27/45, with a sd of 8! The SD's so high! Heard an ang moh so that he was 2 sd's above ave, which means he got like 43/45 ugh... Am done for SOSC, cos the third paper is optional (they choose the best 2 out of 3), and i think i did well enough for the first 2 papers. Not exactly guaranteed an A, but i should be in a good position for it. Considering the crappy grading system, my wonderous class participation ...
and then theres winter break. Which is supposed to be a break for me. But then again, knowing me... haha ... okay, i shall take at least 1 week of break ... theres some stuff to catch up on actually. Like my DRP, which i have been neglecting the entire quarter, and need to prepare a presentation by jan ... And maybe learn abit of algebra ... And maybe just forget everything and move on ... But then again, i know how much i love to laze in my bed :) So i definately will be doing that on several days too.
