Hi there

I know I have been ignoring my blog for a while, partly cos of finals and stuff which have kept me busy. But even then, in the past two days, I’ve resisted the urge to blog, and now, suddenly while up in the air, I’m typing this out.

So much has happened this quarter… I’m glad for friends that I have, and how much more we have gotten to know each other. I have also neglected some other pple, partly because of my busy schedule, partly from choice. As mentioned sometime back, dinner parties have sortof decreased. But then again, hosting CNY was quite fun, not to mention expensive. Am not sure how spring quarter will be like, doesn’t seem like there is any major holiday to celebrate. Just did a lunch yesterday for 4 on Sunday.

On this note, y must TK not eat pork. Darn it, I wanted to cook bah kut teh some time back, but he cannot eat it. Then on Sunday wanted to cook honey ribs. Should kick him out and ask Ivan to move into the living room. Oh, and he has been complaining that I burn too many pots. So I guess it’s justified if I were to reduce the serving portions which would then reduce the possibility of me burning pots (I’m not entirely sure how that logic works, but I accept the conclusion of TK finding his own food source.)

This topic came up in conversation, about how much / whether people have grown. CS mentioned that he has hardly changed from Primary school, along with the kind of antics that he used to do… I used to say that too, at least while I was in JC, and partly while I was in army. But now, I feel that I have grown so much, especially in these past 4 years. I am glad for my army and uni experience. I know I have changed a lot, in terms of habits, peculiarities, motivations and such. And along the way, I learn more about myself.

Back up in the air, time to continue typing. Managed to sleep through the 2 liftoffs, had to deal with the first landing. Hopefully I can sleep through the next landing too. Have an apple to consume at some point in time. I’m suddenly reminded of zac and his oranges that he brought along from Singapore to US, which held us up at the customs for some time, before they threw ir away…

The way I have been doing things seem no longer to work as well. I have known this for quite a while, and just received a wakeup call. So now I would need another approach, which will be troublesome. Oh well, its better to suffer in the short term, than die in the long run. Hopefully I will know what to do, failing which, I have to ask around.

Oh, Putnam results will be out within the next 2 weeks, release date has varied from 15^th to the 30^th. Not expecting much, since I felt that I screwed up somewhat. There’s always next year. Kiat and Charmaine apparently did quite well, so shall keep a lookout for they names. Any money is good, and the more the merrier.
