Whatever
Yea, i know i long time never come here already lah. Part of it was a conscious decision, part of it was just Busy mah (perfect excuse rite) So much stuff happening this quarter. This quarter is going alright, slightly more slack, also cos not everything that was planned went acc to plan. Stopped working (well, sort of), din get that SEASME thingy cos the instructor din like, but then again, took up DRP (Game theory), continuing with Putnam, replace anal with alge....
So lets see whats happening in my life so far.
Alive. as far as i can tell, so parents can worry abit less now... (haha, yea rite, who am i kidding) Oh, eating very well actually, just made borbo chacha today and it was quite good. And also my yam balls (need more minced meat, sugar, soysauce, must make smaller too) Yea, good food. Mostly experimental though ...
Oh yes, will be staying on in Chicago over winter break. I figure that i rest better if not travelling around alot. I HATE to shift, and besides, its so comfy here. Yea, i know that travelling is good fun too, but right now im feeling more of having a lazing time for myself. Besides, might pick up some work over winter break too.
Oh yes, stopped keeping track of accounts already. Am def in the negative since income shrank, and MJ just doesn't supplement it that much LOL. Am supposed to work for PS next quarter (but then again, who knows what that means). Most of my expenditure is spent on food, esp since i have pple come over for dinner and whatnots (keep separate from household acc which is shared with TK) But then again, charging pple for dinner also like not very nice leh. See how lah, somehow must hit a happy medium somewhere, sometime.
Ah yes .... my wonderful roommate. So much to say about him. Erm, but i guess here not really the place to complain about his 3 cooking experiences, horrendous sleeping habits, harem expansion, etc.
Oh subject wise (this is where my parents will perk up), doing best in SOSC, then STAT, then ECON, then MATH. Haha, should become a SOSC major instead. My lecturer likes my writing, i dunno why. But too bad he chaging next quarter, so must see how. (he can give me 3.5/4 for something thats, 'Interesting, but somewhat obvious.') AS for MATH, im eligible to join the facebook group 'C for Math Midterm'. Econs not that much better, bloody stupid KC. No body understand what he saying, nobody knows what his stupid midterms ask for. I think i was writing GP essay instead mah, talk so much cock in that paper, only mention 1 equation in the exam...
Finals in 2 weeks, SOSC paper 3 is optional, depending on my grades, might consider not doing it. Stat final should be alright, Econ final hopefully can lah. Alge final is somewhat worrying, cos nori has set us all the questions he can think of in group theory already (which means that those that will come out will be much harder ugh).
Then of course, theres always Putnam, which is the sat before final. Really hoping for the best, esp since i cant say that PF is out of reach. Having solved the qn 6's last year, i cant say that they are undoable... but then again, i consider those 2 extremely lucky strikes. Oh well, shall just aim for top 10, and be happy with whatever money i can get. Team is supposed to do very well, which just means more money (yea) Oh, will skip whatever calc, anal or alge qns that come out, esp since i would have no idea what to do.... Trying the past year papers seems abit pointless, esp since i have seen those qns before, and those that i knew how to do, i know how to do. Those that i dont know what to do, i still dunno how to deal with them. Oh well, fingers crossed.
And for all you kaypohs ... theres nothing happening lah. Facts are grossly wrong in the first place, partially thanks to CS's trusting nature of Kenneth's rubbish.
Yea of course, alot more have happened in these past 2 months, stuff that will not be written down, or stuff that was obliquely alluded to. Memories that will stay just that. Ups and downs, and now is more up than down.

I think charging people for dinner is alright, depending on how frequently they're over.
